The Pittsburgh Home and Garden Show started at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center this past weekend. Did you stop by to see us at the Cabinet World booth? Thousands of people did! A few of our designers and our spokesperson, Joanne, were on hand to talk about the latest trends in kitchen and bath cabinetry.
One of the best kept secrets of the kitchen design we built for the Home Show is the pull out spice rack that fits in what would otherwise be wasted space. Decoist included this feature in a recent round of hidden kitchen compartments.
We showcased the pull out spice rack on either side of the cooktop above, but we also showed how it can work alongside drawers and cabinets in an island. You don’t have to use this added storage for spices, we think it would also be a great place to keep pens and pencils at a homework station, or use it to organize coupons and shopping lists! Check out all that functional storage in the drawers below, too. There’s a knife block, cutting board, and organizing bins!
The Pittsburgh Home and Garden Show continues through March 13th. Show hours are Fridays and Saturdays: 10am-10pm, Sundays: 10am-6pm, Monday through Thursday: 4-10pm. We hope to see you there!
Stay tuned for our next blog post that will show off the beautiful test kitchen we built for professional chefs at the Home Show.
